High water cut
The term “water cut” is the ratio of water to the total fluid produced from oil well.
High water cut causes corrosion of downhole equipment, scale building-up and increases the risk of two-phase flow generation (water and oil emulsion) and early ESP failure.
At the same time, pumped oil works like a lubricant for rotating parts and high water content eventually reduces that greasing capability and therefore, excessive frictional wear.
Our INP Hybrid pump system is resistant to scaling and frictional wear since polymer is not much sensitive to the absence of lubricants for its steady operation.
Polymer parts are resistant to corrosion and do not create a galvanic couple in the fluid, reducing the scaling rate.
